After our mesmerizing journey through the Van Gogh Museum, we stumbled upon a charming gem tucked away in the bustling streets of Amsterdam: De winkel van nijntje, also known as Miffy's shop. It was like stumbling upon a childhood memory brought to life amidst the vibrant cityscape.

For those unfamiliar, Miffy – or Nijntje in Dutch – is an iconic children's character created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna. With her simple yet endearing design, Miffy has captured the hearts of generations around the world. And here, in her very own shop, we found ourselves surrounded by a delightful array of Miffy merchandise – from plush toys to books and everything in between.

It was a whimsical detour from the artistic grandeur of the museum, but one that filled us with a sense of joy.

As we left the shop, our hearts a little lighter, we couldn't help but marvel at the serendipity of it all. In the midst of our whirlwind adventure through Amsterdam, we had stumbled upon a small slice of childhood magic – a reminder that sometimes, the most delightful surprises come in the simplest of packages.
